Discover the perfect combination of design and industrial style

In their search for the perfect house, the Thissen family found their dream home in Hedel, a charming village a stone's throw from the bustling city of 's-Hertogenbosch. Their story begins in 2000, when a tip-off from a family member led them to settle here. Since then they have never left, and the reason is simple: Hedel is the ideal place to enjoy peace and quiet, while the hustle and bustle of the city is always within reach.

But the story goes beyond just the location. It revolves around the kitchen - the beating heart of the house. This is where Alex Thissen's vision began: the family is central, and the kitchen is the epicentre of conviviality. This is where they come together, cook the most delicious dishes, and enjoy each other's company. A modern living kitchen where the line between cooking and living is blurred.

The family consists of five members, aged 12 to 19, and Alex, the father of the family. The kitchen is designed with freedom of movement and functionality in mind, The spacious bar at the kitchen island invites the children to quickly join for a quick sandwich after school, or to quietly do their homework while cooking.

This sleek, minimalist kitchen is not just any kitchen.

It is a future-ready kitchen. With solar panels on the roof and an advanced heat pump, they are doing their bit for a sustainable future. The house is smart, thanks to integrated home automation that controls everything centrally, including state-of-the-art Miele kitchen appliances. Starting the dishwasher from your smartphone, viewing the oven contents, or adjusting the lighting; it's all possible.

When choosing the kitchen, thorough attention was paid to quality, style and integration with the smart home. The Miele appliances fit perfectly with the ultramodern home. And why SieMatic? Because Alex believes in top quality and discovered that the SieMatic brand is surprisingly affordable. A choice that was quickly made.

The search for the perfect kitchen began by visiting numerous kitchen suppliers. They were looking for a partner who could guide them in putting together their dream kitchen. They found that partner at SieMatic on the Ringveste. The sales process was seamless with an expert adviser who thought along at every level. The design and purchase process went smoothly and professionally, and even after the purchase we were ready for any adjustments and improvements.

Kitchen has countless functions: cooking, having drinks and doing homework.

It is the ultimate multifunctional space. The Thissen family's interior style is sleek, modern and purist, with matt white and grey tones that perfectly match SieMatic's PURE lifestyle. The kitchen fronts in lotus white silk matt combined with the sima core worktop in solid white and the Quooker Flex in black integrate seamlessly with the living area.

What the Thissen family is most proud of is the consistency of the look, the ultra-modern look and the perfect symmetry of the design. The kitchen flows seamlessly with the rest of the house, which is exactly what they dreamed of.

The ultimate SieMatic kitchen experience in Hedel, a place where cosiness, sustainability and modern design come together. "The kitchen of your dreams is within reach, and we are living proof," says Alex Thissen.
